Remember, Remember...

15:55

There is something pretty amazing about fireworks and sparklers, they give off an instant release of happiness and are brilliant at creating memories. For non-UK readers each year on the 5th November it is Guy Fawkes Night / Bonfire Night. Although if it lands on a week day then most bonfires and firework displays are held at the nearest weekend.

It's a chance to light up the sky, with beautiful colours and some quite loud sounds. It is one of my favourite times of the year, unless its super cold or raining, because I can't be dealing with that miserable weather ruining the fun! Along with the fireworks and bonfires, Sparklers are insanely popular this time of the year, whether you are old or young! It really doesn't matter. Now I am not clever enough yet to capture drawing with sparklers yet.

" Whoosh go the rockets, green and gold and red,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, exploding overhead.
Fizz go the fireworks, showering the ground,
Whizz go the Catherine wheels, whirling round and round.
The roar of the fire, the crackle of the flames,
See the silver sparklers hissing out our names.
Listen to the air bombs whee into the sky.
The sights and sounds of Bonfire Night."
