5 tips for Legoland Windsor

06:30

Legoland Windsor is such a popular place to visit with the family, where children aged 2 -12 can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety. It is a fascinating place and just brilliant how they can make every look / make it out of the classic blocks we have all learnt to love over the years.

So here are 5 top tips to think about if you are planning to make a trip this summer holiday:

  1. Always buy your tickets in advance, on the gate prices can be quite pricey. You can usually find deals online or you can even use Tesco club card points, to help cover some of the cost. (Well they do say every little helps)
  2. Thinking about food. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, snack bars/kiosks throughout the park but this can soon add up. Obviously you can bring your own food and there is plenty of green areas to sit down and enjoy a picnic.
  3. The are height restrictions in place on many rides, so it is always whether a look online before you go to see what you can and can not do and plan your day out so you are not walking back and forth.
  4. Don't forget to take costumes and towels for Duplo Valley Splash and Play area.
  5. Get their early. Although the rides do not open until 10am, you can get into the park from 9.30 am. The best bet is head to the back of the park or the most important rides you want to do. Maybe consider investing in Q bot depending which time of year you are visiting, they will save serious time lost in queues.

A little extra tip is that is you go browse the store in any part of the park, you can get your purchasing sent up to the main store at the gate to collect at the end of the day – saves carrying things around the park all day.
