Half term is here once again! Thank goodness I here many cry, but what plans do you have? Here are 5 places to visit in the South East and London across this October break.

Kidtroplis, London - This half-term why not come visit 86,000-square-foot of brilliant play at Kidtroplis at ExCeL, with tons of activities for kids aged 12 or under. Meet hero Optimus Prime and get on board the My Little Pony double-decker bus If your kids are the restless type, take aim with the NERF Zombie Strike, watch Guinness World Records Live, try free-running lessons with Parkour Generations and go Scalextric racing. There is also a 40-player Minecraft Hub, virtual reality play for under-fives and hands-on areas hosted by brands like WOW Toys, Play-Doh and Playmobil.

Wildwood, Herne Bay There is loads to do during the half term week at Wildwood; why not meet the nocturnal animals up close on the Halloween fancy dress family night tour on Saturday 29th October from 5.30-7.00pm. There is also a pumpkin competition – just bring your carved creations in to be displayed and have the chance to win behind the scenes access to see our animals being fed the pumpkins on the following weekend. There is also lots of spooky happenings within the park. 

Pick your own pumpkin, Ashford - becoming an ever popular event with many field popping up across the South East. Our local being Pick Your Own Pumpkin in Ashford Kent, with prices starting from £1 to £4 for MASSIVE pumpkins - get your wellies and gloves ready to have a explore round the field.

Dreamland, Margate - GET SPOOKED this halloween, go on a ghost hunt with Gus the Ghost, learn the Monster Mash or join Teddy and Betty on a spooky adventure! If you’re feeling a little braver, enter the Witches Mirror Maze and go on a tour of Festino’s Fun house. Or take part in a series of scary challenges put forward by the Dreamland team.

The Shard, London - Spark their imagination with the remarkable 360º view from the top of Western Europe’s tallest building and let them tower over London like giants. With views stretching for up to 40 miles, it’s unlike anything they’ve seen before! During half-term week each paying adult can bring two children for free to see the whole capital from its highest point at The View from The Shard
